A working group of the OpenID Foundation
Account Chooser is a standards-based technology, and a project of the OpenID Foundation. To learn more about the standards used both for presentation and communication between web sites (called Relying Parties), Identity Providers, and the Chooser, take a look at the following different Working Groups:
The Account Chooser Working Group works on the visual and communications rules for how an Account Chooser works. See demonstrations of the different kinds of Account Choosers in action and participate in the Working Group to learn more.
OpenID Connect is one example of a protocol that can be used to communicate with an Identity Provider. The OpenID Connect Working Group has created a suite of specifications that lay on top of the OAuth 2.0 specification, providing identity services for RESTful API platforms. An Intellectual Property agreement is required to contribute to this group.
